Are you talking major fire or part of it caught fire?

Either way, bummer.

I hope you and anyone else are okay.

His sig says 84 Corvette, so that would be Crossfire. The fuel line for the right side TB has to be removed to get that valve cover off. Sounds like it was cross-threaded or maybe just missed being tightened up. Either way, sucks when anyones car catches fire.

LESSON TO THE REST OF US! - Get a fire extinguisher!

your right i think that I didnt tighten it all the way. I have been working for awhile trying to get them in. The fire was so fast and so hot that it didnt really burn that much stuff. Well I think that the bunt of the damage was under neath the air cleaner, got lover the crossFIRE lol

That suscks to hear but at least your ok, bottom line. You can always buy another Vette. It is bummer that there's one less C4 on the road especally an 84. As a former 84 owner I'm still facinated in them.
