85 C4 Dash pad Removal
Trying to remove the dash pad on my 85... I've got an 86 and an 86 Service manual but where the manual says to remove the two screws that are in the defrost vents there aren't any on the 85... I can see them on my 86 but they are not there on the 85. the dash pad will not come out and it acts like it's because of those two screws that I can't see.
Anyone know the trick here?

Are they visable through the windshield? If I look on my 86 I see them... on the 85 there are two dimples where there are screws on the 86. I thought about cutting there but hate to if they aren't really there because my dash pad is perfect.

I just finished putting mine back together after doing the heater core. My 85 has those 2 screws either side of the dashboard vent. I used those 2 screws somewhere else and I sure as hell. Was not going to take everything apart again!!!
