fx3 question?
I finally got over the last hurdle and got the system working and went for a ride. Honestly unless I am traveling at 60+ MPH I can't tell the difference between settings, and then it is so subtle what is the point.
So if you are racing the car, maybe it is an asset. If you run 1/4 miles, you can get the system re-tuned to make dramastic changes in suspention load balancing on launch, which makes the system really worth wild.
However for normal daily driving, the next time the light turns on: I'm just pulling the damb bulb. (I say that, but I probably fix it just because I will know it's broken and that will bother me to end.)

When I had my 902 vert with FX3, I could easily tell the difference especially on different types of pavement. Driving on freeways that were concrete and the switch setting on Sport, I could hear the bump as the tires went over the expansion strips. Changing the setting to Tour, the bump noise went away.
Doug Rippie used to offer a replacement control module that allowed for replacing the PROM. They could burn a chip for the module which allowed for much different settings. Bilstein offered a custom valving (Marroca or ??) that was developed with the help of a CF member. There were lots of possibilities for using FX3 in a high performance setting.
That thing behind the driver seat that controls everything must weigh 40 lb's by itself !
