Looks just like a C4 with a C5 nose on it. What a waste of $$

 

If I wanted a C5 I would buy one, I prefer a C4

 

 

These have been out for while. I've definitely seen worse body kits. To each their own. Personally, I would save for a '97 or '98 and have a real C-5.

 

It doesn't make financial sense at all, but you have to admire the determination to finish a major custom job.

And then 2 months later another thread is started.

You people need to worry about your own cars and leave others to like what they like.
This kit is no worse then the 100's of old school 80's body kits for C4's.
just like 26+" rims, chrome gas doors, quad neon wiper blades, fuzzy dice, air plane wings, bumble bee exhaust, hood louvers, any louvers, vinyl stickers, gold anything (sorry hookies), walmart customs, and faded "Heartbeat of America" decals on purple tint! one day it was cool, the next it was just lame.

Customizing cars is what made the corvette to Begin with. Without a bunch of people putting large motors in lightweight cars the corvette would have never been invented.

That guy did a ton of work to HIS car to make it the way HE liked. Work that 95% of you guys can't even do yourself. You should respect the owner for his work, and keep your opinions of his style to yourself.

Anyone can buy a car. Their is no talent involved when picking out a car and paying for it. Real talent comes from making it your car.

Its amusing how freely someone's able to drift their crap out in the open and expect it to be protected from truth as though its their space to use as they please. If he wanted sugar coated opinions he should have never posted the pics. I'm not a big fan but a lot of work went into that car and looks like he did a nice job. I've seen much worse as far as body kits and as long as the owner likes it thats all that counts. I did like the music.

 

Actually it was American soldiers exposure to European sports cars that sparked the design of the Corvette. The first Corvette was a Blue Flame 6 cylinder, NOT a large motor.


And more power to him. That doesn't change the fact it's lame.

Real talent comes from designing and building a car that the majority of people appreciate. Unbolting and bolting on body panels for a C4 to C5 conversion isn't rocket science.
