Default C4 noob intro

Greetings,
New....to me: 94 arctic white with red guts coupe. Inside is almost perfect. Takes off a little jittery in first, kinda whines a little when the clutch isn't engaged. I dig it though. Need a little help IDing a couple things. See pics.

This left panel on the side of the dash, name? Part number? Best guess? Source for a replacement?

Stainless axle back, any ideas? Looks like Borla, had zero time to dig into this one.

Plans:
white powder coated 5 spoke wheels donors from my wife's C6 vert.
Red GS style hash marks
That's pretty much it.

Wife's poop:

Yeah, she let me play with modding it. Even better, it has long tube headers, 3" mid and B&B bullets, sounds like a NASCAR.

That's the "hush panel". GM called it the lower trim panel. You might find one at a Corvette salvage yard. You could try www.contemporarycorvette.com.

NICE C4! welcome! I hope someone here can supply a path to that dash panel! oops-looks like sailor steve might have done that...

good luck! bring pix of progress!

(no comment on 'wife's poop'....)

sky vette is correct! wheel blades are oriented like early c4 turbines-but backwards for your model!

Welcome to the C4 section. Nice color combo

Yep yer wheels are on backwards .... and we are going to keep telling you this until you mount them correctly and post us a pic to prove that you fixed it

On our gen they are called "cat-back" not axle back like on C5 or C6.

Another source for the panel is from forum vendor vette2vette. Their prices are always good as is their service.

That catback could be a lot of brands. try and see if there's a name stamped on the muffler.

If you get exhaust drone while driving, assume they're not Corsa's.

Working from home to play with the C4. Went out to swap the wheels around....no can do, directional tires....sucks!!!!!

Did test fit the C6 5 spokes though, I think powder coated white will look pretty naughty, opinions?

You could get a decent idea of what it would look like by checking out the '88 Anniversary cars. Personally I think the anny. cars are cool because of what they are but otherwise don't like the look. Of course you know what people say about opinions. If you are going to go with a powder finish I would go with powder black with a thin red pinstripe. The stripe is the important part... IMHO you have to have something there to break up the wheel and the tire. Again, just one guy's opinion.
