Default Number 9!

Haven't posted much on the CF over the years as my vettes kept getting newer and newer so thought I would go a little old(er) school this time........introducing Number 9! My 9th corvette that is ....... just not all at once!

1996 Collector Edition, automatic, convertible ...... in remarkably great shape, no hits outside, no rips or cracks inside, smooth engine and transmission just like the last C4 I owned years ago. Thought silver would be a good color for me again, notice my handle, was driving a 72 silver coupe when I first joined CF!

I am guessing from reading thru the posts in the C4 section that I will find my "issues" eventually so thanks in advance for the help you will all certainly give me!

Nice CE Vette
Had three Corvettes by the end of 2000, last one was brand new, ended up being my daily driver for some years.......work and life got in the way of the CF and my older vettes so away they went. Fast forward a bunch of years and I am suddenly retired, time again to enjoy the hobby! Still don't post much but I check in almost daily these days, lots of great info here, maybe I'll post more often!

Thanks for the

Last new vette was an '07 coupe, bare bones, automatic (my wife said she wanted to be able to drive it too........never did, not once!) This was my favorite vette technology wise, by far the fastest and best handling I have owned. But all the vettes I have had have been my favorite in one way or another, each had something that I really like or I probably wouldn't have bought them in the first place!

It only took us blabber mouths a week or so.

the best way is to go to PR&C and start a thread about Palin, Gays, or unions and it's off to the races. As long as you make a post after every five or so you'll be a senior by ten oclock

LOL I wanted a 6 Speed and bought an auto because the wife wanted to drive it. I purchased the car 2hrs from home. She drove it home steeped out and said" I never want to drive this car again, it's scary".

Very well said, I think we should make you an honorary SR member. Why should us loud mouths be better than a true veteran Vette owner. Welcome back to the familia.
