Default What is this plug?

OK, I found this while pulling the drivers seat this morning.... trying to get it low enough for me to clear with a helmet on (no dice. time for some new seats). Pulled it out from under a REALLY nasty seat....

On the plug it has thre lines of letter/numbers:

30E09549E02
SKN4490A
J52-TSE-F

It runs over to the e-brake lever and goes under the carpet right behind the rear trim on the ebrake handle. Obviously it's some sort of serial port to plug in a computer.... but for what?

No, I don't (yet) have a fsm, that is in the plans bu haven't gotten that far yet.

No, but we found $1.85 so far. Although some of the coins were missing the silver outer coating.... and some we still don't know what they are. Currently sitting in CLR! Obviously that got cleaned out BEFORE the seat went back in!

Looks like an old computer monitor connector.

Default Scanner connector?

I'm guessing ... if it is it's very bad from the looks of it it is corroded. No telling what it will do if it shorted out. Trace it back to the other end and remove it.

Had the same problem with my helmet. I'm 6' 2" and I just took off the bottom seat cushion and put a flat stiff cushion there and it just makes it. If you are using a 5 point harness you will have to take the bottom cushion off for the antisub. belt.

I'm just planning on new seats. Mine already has the gangsta lean too.
