Default Pulled the trigger

Just want to introduce myself the the C4 forum. I just bought a 96 A4 coupe, white with saddle interior. It has 35K on the odo and was owned by a county prosecutor. I'm looking forward to doing some mods.
I chose the C4 over a nice C5. No flames here, just a personal preference.

I also have a 79 white/black that let's just say is not NCRS but a blast to drive!

I know the C4 will be a blast as well!

Just curious, why did you pick the C4 over the C5...? Do you personally like one over the other? Did you get a chance to drive both?

Congrats on the "new" vette! Knowing the previous owner might come in handy if the "need for speed" should come over you!

Congrats, nice low mileage find. I'm sure the "other" Vette will enjoy the company. Nice choices to have, which one will I drive today?

Again, no flames against the C5. I did drive both the C4 and C5. To me, the C4 has more of a sports car feel. The cockpit, seats, clam shell front end, the refined rawness of power and the visceral seat of the pants launch led me to the decision. I could upgrade the heads, rockers, exhaust and achieve 360-380rwtq without breaking the bank. The C5 is a very refined car. All the upgrades that were made between models gave the car a different feel. More luxury, good power, decent handling.

I enjoy Corvettes whatever the model. For my money and preference I just love the C4.

Congrats, Spot on comments!!!!

I love the interior of the later model C4s. Wife has a C6 & I think the interior is crap.
