You should post a little info about your car, namely the year. Also, any other details on loss of power...?
she is a 1990 vette, red w/red interior, 6 speed, when she stalled, the water floated her about 20' to a curve, at that point no power at all, she`s been in garage since drying out with the top off and doors open, some moisture was in throttle body also. need to change oil, trans. fluid, rearend oil, etc. before trying to start.
First: Welcome to the Forum. You will make a lot of friends as well as taping a wealth of Corvette knowledge. There are three large wires attached to the starter solenoid of your starter, a large cable that runs directly to your battery and two smaller wires that distribute power to the car. These two wires have an inline circuit protecting fuseable link a few inches from the solenoid terminals. In your position I would connect the battery, assuming it is charged, and check for voltage at the solenoid terminal. Don't see why you wouldn't, again assuming connections are clean and corrosion free since it is a hard wire connection. Next probe past the fuseable links for power. My kneejerk reaction is you will not. If You do then a wiring diagram is a must for detained troubleshooting.
