Last week we replaced the U-joints on the Drivshaft. thud noise still there. So after getting discouraged i called my mechanic and he gave me a pep talk to do it your self and save a bunch of $$$. So today we started to do the U-joints on the half-shaft.( Scorp thanks a million for having such a good site. Its U-Joints for dummies.) So i am gonna work like a bandit and TRY to haveit out and driving by Friday =)

I was checking the U-Joints that came off the Driveeshaft and realized they said picer on them??? did these come stock or have they been replaced?
Spicer was the original brand, from what I know. I hope you had the drive shaft balanced after the u-joints were replaced. You may now have a vibration that was not there before, or you might get lucky. I replaced mine and had it rebalanced, they added about three ounces of weight to one end.
Good luck with the half shafts, there are actually not to bad a job.
