Default gluing down a dash mat

My dash pad is cracking and lifting and was pondering just gluing the whole dash mat down since I really don't like how loose fitting it is in areas and really hate when you get on the gas and they slide off.

what would be a good chemical to use to really make sure the super90 3m glue will still for a long time? My dash mat is contoured pretty nice to everything so just figured it would look much better completely glued down

this is on a 1990 by the way.

3m spray adhesive should work real good but what if you come across a nice dash youd want to replace or the carpet you put on went bad?

Maybe some velcro with self stick tape might be an option most fabric stores should have it cheap.
