I noticed in your avatar your vette has a sorta matte grey finish on most of it with the nose and now that I can see it the rear bumper painted. Is this by design? I actually kind of like that look
yeah, thats the new hip thing to do....like black wheels.
no, just kidding. The car is sitting in primer. The front and back bumpers are new as well as all of the tail lights and all of that stuff. Oddly, both front and back were bumped at different times (barely bumped) and the insurance put new bumpers on for me and painted them. Well, I say for me, but actually for my father, who I purchased the car from a few years ago.
Once the motor is finished, I have some money saved for a nice stay fast top, so I will be putting that on. The next project will be paint and door skins, so I will be saving for a while. I just want it drivable right now.
that was down in Eureka Springs over their corvette weekend. I would love to have a 69 vert, 4sp with pipes. These two were too pretty not to take the picture.
Wow I have one of those in the closet collecting dust along with Fat Mac!
PS Thank you for serving, see the medal on the wall.
I have a collection of 29 Apple/Mac computers, I take them out of storage every few months and use them. I also have a working DEC PDP 11, a kaypro and a Compaq portable that still work.
