Poor scorp..now he has to settle for number 2 , now that the vette is down. My son says that driving the Camaro is like punishment to make you work harder to get the vette back on the road. But what does he know, he is just 16. Maybe Scorp can use that for inspiration. How you doing Scorp???

Your son is smart, Sharky! :D I think O/D went out in the camaro today. It's that or TC lockup. The damn thing is now spinning 3500 at 75mph instead of 2300 like it was before. :)

It is a world of difference. The vette makes more power at the wheels than the camaro makes at the track. Hell more than it would make gross w/o accessories.

Vette: 211hp/315 ft/lbs at the wheels (dyno'd when stock in '00)
Camaro: 150hp/ 240 ft/lbs at the crank when new.

...hills now scare me. :D

Right now my 95 has 59,000 miles, I drove it during the winter and everyone thought I was nuts

I took this kid for a ride last week, and he says to me "Wow, it doesn't feel like it has 50,000 miles" Are cars supposed to get significantly slower as they get more miles?  I drive my car hard, and it's running better than ever

My 92 is my only car so that kinda makes it my daily driver. It had 52k miles on it when I bought it in January 2001, it's got over 65k now.

87 Vette with 115k miles. Daily driven? YOU BET! Well...probably not anymore, since I am driving my truck again. (75 Chevy C10) I also have a 93 Saturn SC2, for when I want to go pick on ricers (It actually beats em too!)

My 92 is still running strong with 127k miles that I try to drive at least once a week to the office - otherwise - its a weekend car. Daily Driver is my Exployer AWD 5.0 with 98k and the wifes car is a 02 Benz C-230 Coupe (15k miles and in the process of filing for a Lemon Law return - what a piece of junk).

1986 Vette (occasionally driven to work) - 63K miles
2000 Vette ("the garage queen, vacation and cruising vehicle") - 14K miles
2000 Ford Truck (husband's daily driver/work truck) - don't know the miles and don't care because it's free :D
