Any ideas? We found a missing c-clip on one of the hinge joints which is causing excessive play in the movement. I suspect this to be the cause.
If it is the c clip that fits on a ¼ shaft, pm me with your address and I send you a freebie on Monday. I had to buy a packet of them when I did my headlamp motors and lost one. These are from McMaster Carr, stainless. You will also need a small washer between the clip and arm that also probably fell off.
Anybody else that needs a clip, likewise pm me, I have 4-5 extra.
