87 corvette keeps draining battery

Ghoghos: Ya need your own thread methinks; this one = 3+ years ago, and offers very little in the way of help or feedback.
In the mean time, a couple basic things you can do easily to narrow the focus a bit:
Are the battery terminals clean?
Before starting the car, measure the voltage between the battery posts. 12.8+ (approx) = fully charged, more or less. 12.2 = discharged, and < 12.0 = battery is under duress for various reasons.
Alternator check: If car starts, measure voltage between the battery posts. Normal range = 13.5 to 14.7 volts; 13.5 when fully charged/warm, and 14.7 discharged/cold
If the alternator is charging, but the battery is not holding a charge, have it tested and replaced if tests prove it is beyond salvaging.
With engine off, everything turned OFF including doors closed (courtesy lights and under hood lights OFF) measure the current between the battery and the (disconnected) negative cable. Should be 50mA (0.050A) or less, typically tho closer to 25mA is nominal. If current draw is higher than 50mA, then pull each fuse, one at a time, and note the current change, and reinstall the fuse. If you pull a fuse and current falls sharply to within the 25-50mA range, that may likely be the circuit with the load.
Then start your own thread, let us know what you discovered, and we can go from there!
Great idea thanks
