Hey everyone I guess I new this day was coming, just hit 30k miles on my 1989 corvette and my headlights are struggling to flip up. Should I get a new motor or should I just get a rebuild kit and rebuild my existing motors? And where can I get a nice full rebuild kit? Thank -Mas
did the same thing, could never find a 'complete' kit, seems the only thing that ever goes wrong with these is the bushings. one of the other members stated that electric tool parts suppliers could match parts like brushes etc. have never needed them , an alternator/generator rebuilding class I took years ago was a big help in checking things and knowing what to clean and how to do it ,my 2c's
Maybe you should try Cialis? She. Give you everything you want. Boom Boom long time.
What exactly is it doing? Is it trying to get up and running for a while till it does it? If so, I would do the bronze gear and bushings all at once for both. Ecklers has them
Yea, it turns the headlight halfway and then u can just hear the motor just turning trying to get the headlight up but seems like it's not gripping and the whineing sound goes on for a while and eventually just stops and the headlights are stuck half way sometimes it gets up and most of the time it doesn't.

By the way where should I get a full rebuild kit? Thanks again
Usually for 88 and newer all you need is the bushings. They are the same bushings that Ford used in their power window assemblies for years, so you can get them at any auto parts house.
Thanks alot everyone, I ordered the full kit, new bushings and the bronze gears. Hopefully I can rebuild these motors. once again everyone thanks alot, I really appreciate all the help and advice. Especially the step by step pictures
Thanks - Mas
