I wish my garage was heated, the weather has been weird in SoCal, 30-35 at night and on the weekends when I'm off it has been raining.
On both Vettes I have to replace the water pump oil seal. I bought the special nipple tool so, I'll finally do it correctly. On the 96 I got to replace the PKE module and the horn wires.
On my DD (Focus), I want to upgrade the suspension to an Eicbac Street Performer Kit. It costs $700, I already bought rotors and steel braided lines for it. Two years ago, I upgraded to the SVT brake system and the K&N snorkel.

Pull old motor and install new to me 383
Lightweight flywheel and new clutch
New clutch master and slave
New Aluminum seats
Harnesses
almost forgot - adjustable lower control arm bushings
Then get on the cage builders list for a full cage sometime next year.
Any money left over - big brake kit
I dropped my motor off a few weeks ago to do a 383 rebuild. It was a LE2 top end. It will now get a forged, internally balanced stoker crank, rods and pistons. Clean up the LE2 heads and spec a new cam for the 383 build.
PeteK has the transmission and it will be done when its done. Hopefully it will be back together by February or March.
I will also be changing out the shocks and may do new bushings too.
Lots to do on mine, hence it's at home in the garage this winter instead of in storage off-site;
Upper control arm bushings (bought, need to install*)
Upper ball joints (bought, need to install*)
Front brake pads (bought, need to install*)
Outer door window seals (bought, need to install*)
Parking brake cables (bought, need to install*)
Also have plugs & wires en-route & may tackle the opti (& water pump, by default) while I'm in there.
*If I get cold and/or lazy this winter, look for me on a future episode of "Hoarders"

Just a helpful hint - Unless you have a press and make yourself a spacer the best way to do the bushings in the upper control arms is to take them to a machine shop and have them do it. I had a local shop do my upper bushings, remove the upper ball joint and press out and install the lower ball joint so I didn't learn too many new cuss words when I did my suspension rebuild

I'm with you there. I had the local shop press in the new lower ball joints after I gave up trying to get them in with the c-clamp style loaner press.
Ive wanted to do this for so long now, went checking out powdercoating places and the work involved to freshen the wheel up and only coat those small areas was not worth the price. So guess Ill just be doin a lot of scrubin and paintin myself in the garage. Then again the vette may be on the auction block come spring for something different and the reaction most gave me when i posted this once wasnt that great. So maybe ill just leave them be
1- Dewitts rad fan upgrade
2- Clean rad and ac condenser
3- Install plate style trans cooler
4- Put new gears in left headlight motor
5- Install trans temp and pressure gauges.
6- Clean engine compartment up
7- Get underhood lights working but with a manual switch
8- Inspect driveline and suspension and replace needed parts
8- Change rear gear oil, brake fluid, ps fluid, and trans fluid
9- Install KYB shocks
10- Install breadbox eliminator.
11- Finish my Cyberdybe gauge install
12- Install new carpet and sound deadner
13- New rear y pipe and mufflers
My winter garage time is about 3 1/2 months so I should be able to get all that done. Everything that makes the car more reliable gets priority.
