Default Gauge Cluster

Hi, need some advise on a 94 vette gauge cluster. Would a LT4 gauge cluster with a 7000 rpm tack out of a 95 or 96 vette work in a 94 vette that came with a LT1 6000 rpm gauge cluster? I have many modifications completed at this point and hate not seeing where I'm shifting. I'm trying to avoid installing an aftermarket tach. All advice will be appreciated.

Yes, quite a few people have put the LT4 cluster into '94-'96 LT1 cars.

The LT4 gauge cluster has an 8,000 rpm tack. Also the LT4 was a '96 only option.
So, your not going to find one out of a '95 Vette.

But, the ZR-1 cluster from the '94-'95 also has an 8,000 rpm tack and will work too.
