Plain Stupid/Jealous?
Ive got a '88 thats got a yellow/black theme goin. Cars yellow with black w/ polished lip c5 zo6 motorsports rims and black w/ yellow center Iggee seat covers as well as a few other yellow parts-yellow top battery and yellow powdercoated valve covers. Ill be the first to say I dont care what others think about my car as I know my opinions the only one the matter but a few guys here started saying that my cars a pedaphile mobile which to me makes absolutely no sense. Im thinking theyre just jealous for whatever reason and being stupid. Agreed?

When you say "a few guys here" do you mean the forum or where you live? I'm not getting the connection between yellow/black and pedophilia either....or I wouldn't let my nieces and nephews near bumble bees.

Those are a few years old back from when I was in Texas. Car looks pretty much the same but Ive since finished the exhaust and she has the yellow/black iggee seat covers.

If your car looked like a ice cream truck I could see a connection in what they said but otherwise it's a bunch of BS. Your going to find some jerks (I use that term but have other words in mind) where ever you go so you have to consider the source and move on.

To the OP, you're car's pretty sharp. There was a forum member from I think missouri that had a yellow 6 spd C4 for sale with around 40K on it or so. Had I not already had mine I'm sure his car would now be parked in my garage. When I initially started looking for a vette I mentioned the colors I wanted to my dad, one of them being yellow. He just looked at me and said "why would anybody want to drive a "calf scours" yellow car?" Now remember guys, he's 68 and has farmed his whole life and apparently way back in the day when cattle would get sick with the scours (sp?) the...um...discharge was of a yellow tint. I just looked at him and said who would even associate a yellow car with something like that? Well I guess one farmer would
