special paint?
My black 95 is in need for a new paint job. It's chipped down to the gray primer on the nose and deep scratches on other parts of the car not to mention some fading. I was telling someone (not a mechanic) i needed a paint job and they said since the car is mostly fiberglass that it requires a special paint which costs more. Is there truth to this?

When you go buy the paint, tell them you are painting a fiberglass boat. Then you wont have to pay the corvette tax.

I thought it was a bogus website but those idiots are really painting stuff with a roller!! I think it's only if you want a flat or satin finish though. 
I hope they're at least using a foam roller for it, otherwise it's going to look like cat.
