Sounds like a great time. I'd love to see some of his work in person.

There are a lot of positives about California. We produce a large part of the nations fruits and vegitables, and I am talking about the ones you buy at the grocery store.

We are the leading producer of unmanned aircraft.

We produce movies and TV shows

We usually have great weather

We can race 12 months a year

Today is December 24th and there were number of gals in shorts or short skirts out Christmas shopping at out door malls such as Irvine Spectrum.

We have large reserves of rare earth minerals, produce oil, and gas.

We aren't any more liberal than New York.

Were not as good as Texas but we have a lot more things to do.

Considering his house just got slammed during the rains, he's real stand up to still host guests.

Yeah....there's that pesky disregard for the 2nd amendment that's a bit disturbing..... I still carry when I'm there....funny thing is the further I get out of the LA metro area, the more conservative the attitudes (especially towards firearms) get.

I was born in SoCal....love to go back and visit, but no desire to ever live there again. I have very little family left there anymore. Still hope to get back this summer with Marco and do some cruisin' with the California guys.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I am from Utah originally, just a few miles south of Jon Hekking, but have been in Apple Valley for the last 44 years.

Pete and I had a blast hanging out, thats for sure. He drove his DRM 95 that is absolutly beautiful. His vette is so clean and detailed, my mom thought it was brand new. If you have not seen Pete's vette's he keeps them in top form, and is a visual treat to see under the hood.

Thanks for spending time with us yesterday Pete.

Mike

Merry Christmas everyone.

Mike, You're good people. We got dumped on yesterday and last night with alot of snow. And I was feeling sorry for myself cause I have to shovel all that stuff, then I see on the news with all those mudslides in Ca. and all I can say is sheesh, I sure am lucky. I hope you haven't been affected by any of that.
