$230 EACH?!?! OUCH!!! But I guess I HAVE to. DAAANG! Ohh well, the insurance is paying for it. Still :( I was thinking about putting the other side on there too, because it's making noise when it flips up, but for that price! Forget that!
Yeah..mine's busted :( That's gonna be stupid, one making noise, the other quiet. How much are factory ones? Cuz that's the price they're going to give me. Are they more than $230?(Hopefully!)

The following makes no sense to me, but I got it off of my Alldata account.
Headlamp Motor
Actuator
Right . 16500364 . $242.00
Left . 16517068 . $953.00
Actuator Kit . 16517068 . $953.00
Also, there is a Technical Service Bulleting to upgrade the 84-87 to the later style. If you are smart, you'll push for this. The GM list price is shown at $972 for the part # stated in the TSB below.
Number: 87-309-8B
Section: 8B
Date: March 1991
Corporate Bulletin No.: 138202R
Subject: HEADLAMP DOOR ACTUATOR KITS
Model and Year: 1984-87 CORVETTE
The headlamp door actuators for the 1984 thru 1987 "Y" Car are no longer available. A kit (P/N 16517068) is now available to convert the 1984 thru 1987 Y car to the 1988 and newer "Y" car headlamp system. The package contains both the right-hand and left-hand retractable headlamp assemblies with actuators (minus the capsules), the control module, adapter harnesses, and detailed instructions.
If further service is needed in the future, all parts from the 1988 or newer model year may be used. An appropriate notation will be made in the Parts Catalog.
Installation Notes:
1. Some of the kits may have headlamp actuator connectors that are wired backwards. If the one or both headlamp doors operate backwards after the kit is installed, reverse the terminals in the connector to the actuator.
2. It is important that all wiring connections be soldered, and protected with self-sealing electrical tape or heat-shrink tubing.
3. Headlamps should be aimed after the kit is installed.
$972?!!? WHOA! Can't be. I'll have to talk to the guy at the body shop, see what the ACTUAL piece is that he needs. Be it actuator or what. Cuz if they want to give me $950 for a part I paid $250 for...then WHOA!
Yup, it's the Drivers Side Actuator I need, guy at the body shop said list price was $242 and it was discontinued. SO, I won't be gaining anything on that then. Ohh well.
