So we replaced the clutch master cylinder today, everything went smoothly until we tried to restart... Press clutch in, turn the key, and nothing. all the gauges light up, but no engine turnover. I checked all the switches by the clutch and all seem to be fine... any other ideas? thanks in advance.

Yeah....1894 Vette....get out the crank, insert it through the grill, and go to town!
Are you 100% positive that the clutch switch is both getting continuity and is adjusted correctly? Jump the switch and see if the car starts.

Is the security light staying on?
That was the very first Vette prototype and due to budget issues it was postponed until 1953
I agree with Friz, got to be the clutch switch or maybe you activated the vats when moving cables around. Ensure you didn't bend one of the inner connectors, do a visual inspection to ensure all is in good order.
No, but it did have a security system that will deactivate the starter circuit. The "security" light is usually the telltale that something is afoul with the system.
