Default Monthly Start up

I needed a fix yesterday, so I started up my '92 and let it run in the driveway for about 10-15 minutes. Ahhh... The rumble of the exhaust
and the time just sitting in the driver's seat was good therapy. As you can see, we have plenty of snow so backing it back into the garage was my only option. Oh well, there is always next month. Spring has got to be getting closer. Anybody else getting their fix?
Russ...

Up until yesterday we could actually drive our cars (South Central Pennsylvania). I went Christmas shopping on the 23rd. with my C4 convertible, didn't have the top down, 38 degrees. We only got an inch of snow, the weather forecast is for warmer weather and rain this weekend. Hopefully the roads will get washed.

Colorado is a pretty decent place to winter over. I've been able to drive Tina to work the last two days since it was 50-ish and clear roads.

Out here I doubt I'd ever go a week without being able to drive the C4.

Mine's about 15 minutes away. I only manage to make it out about once a month to start her up. Only 3-4 more months until better weather though.

Mine has been sitting since before Thanksgiving. I think about driving it all the time but there is about 6" of snow stacked up outside my garage door. I'm going to need to move it in a few weeks to get to some stuff in front of it, then she will sit again until cam/heads time comes in February (hopefully! have 2 other projects to finish before I can tackle that one).

Tomorrow looks promising. It's supposed to be 55 and no rain. We are geting some rain today so hopefully the salt will get washed off. Can't wait!

I started mine up yesterday for the first time since mid November. I just got my new Blowerworks MAF sensor installed and wanted to make sure it worked before hitting the road tomorrow to do some dataloging. Im hoping I can get my tuning squared away before the weather gets nice this spring.....WW

Took mine out of the garage to let her run and dust her off. Put it back in the garage plugged in the battery tender and covered her up. Woke up to find this....... I got the vette jones already.

Russ...

Taken my 80 out today for +/-15 minutes and it was a nice fix... hope for the sun to come as i did trade my 2003 mustang gt for a 94 black targa + some $$$ but both are in storage right now... (My ex corvette was also a black rose, nice color under sun but hard to resale!)

I'll be taking mine out in a few hours to drive down to a winery out in the sticks which is holding a pasta buffet for members of the wine club. Nice curvy road through the countryside to get there. It should be sunny and clear, but maybe a little too brisk to put the top down. We'll see. Only problem is the need to go easy on the cabernet since CHP will be out in force. Everyone has their cross to bear, I guess.

Sorry to hear about all that winter stuff....from a former Buckeye.

I had to laugh when I seen this thread. I just did the same thing. I started up all of mine... had them running all at the same time... I was grinning ear to ear listening to the rumble.

Must be a bunch of us nawthaners suffering from Corvette Withdrawls!

The rain and 57 degree temps yesterday and last night cleared the snow outta the driveway - roads to the highway are MUDDY, so no cruisin But, I'll get 'em both out for a little mid-winter warm up. Like you, I love to hear the chorus the two of them make - just over 900 hp between the two of 'em.

Is it spring yet???

P.

I also started mine up for the first time since I put it away the 1st of November. Took it around the block to get some of the fluids moving. It was 55 and rainy yesterday, so almost nice enough for a drive.
