Default Spark Plug Replacement Help

What's the best way to get to the #2 Spark Plug on a 90 Vette (Base Model)? It's pretty tight in there under the Air Conditioning compressor and so on.

Thank You
Troy

Remove the center wheelwell plastic piece that goes up over the right shock. With a long extention and swivel and a little luck you can access that plug from the wheelwell area.

What's the big deal?

There's more than ONE reason to like the LT5!

Yup, I've got one of these too. Obviously I'm not asking about changing the plugs for that car.

Cylinder #8 on a LT1 is murder. Took me long time to find the right tool combo.

I did some combination of this until it was vaguely tight enough. One time, I didn't shove in the wire hard enough, and it came loose going down the road. By then, the engine was at temp, and I had to pull over to shove it back in. That was an unpleasantly hot experience.

The best tools I've found is a cool engine and a lot of patience.

You can do it without removing it, but it makes it soooo much easier!

I need to get a swivel head ratchet next time I'm out. I seem to have come across several instances lately where it would have been handy.

Pretty much a necessity for Corvette plus all manner of sizes of extensions.

Since you brought it up first. I did the same thing. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I've owned a couple of C4's over the past 20+ years, in the begining I had only a lousy Hanes manual and no internet to tell me it was difficult.
