Default Coolant flush question LT4

I did some advanced searches, and can't seem to find any threads with the locations of the air bleeder valves. I don't have my Chiltons or FSM handy at the moment, as I'm sure it is in there. So, can someone tell me where the cooling system air bleeder valves are on a 96? I can only seem to find the one on the thermostat housing. Thanks!

Thanks.

Do you know what the difference is between the digital temp gauge and the analog? After flushing, I am noticing that the analog heats up a bit faster than the digital, and there is a discrepancy for a long time. I am sure there is air trapped in the system, and will need to bleed it out a few more times.

The analog always seems to be going through the roof conpared to digital. Ive read there are two different sensors for each but not 100% sure

Analog gage = sensor on passenger head
Digital gage = ECM input = sensor on water pump

Perfect! Thanks for the info. It seems that as long as there is sufficient air in the system, the two gauges have different readings, but are in sync once the system is stable.

My upper radiator hose burst on the freeway a week ago, and the analog hit 260 degrees right as I was turning the motor off. After replacing the upper and lower hoses, thermostat, and flushing the system, everything seems fine. Is there anything I should be watching for, besides signs of a blown head gasket?
