Default Tune up time

I've decided to get a tune on my 89. I would like to know what the forum thinks are the best plugs and wire set for the tune up? Any help will be appreciated.

I'd go with stock wires (for fitment reasons) and copper core AC Delco's or Autolites. Remember...all a spark plug does is create an arc. Don't waste money on the "gimmick" plugs. Enjoy your '89!

P.S: I run Autolite 606 Copper Cores in my '93 LT1. No problems whatsoever.

I just installed AC Delco plugs and Napa 7.5 mm (OEM) wires. You can go with a heavier wire but it is difficult to get them to fit into the guides.

I say go stock. No need to waste money on plugs and wires that will run the same as the Stock ones.
