Hey, folks - anyone know offhand if Exotic Muscle long-tubes will bolt up to the stock exhaust (96 LT1), or will I need to make a trip to my exhaust guy?

I just Installed my Melrose (SPL) full lenght headers they went in very easy From the bottom of the car up.
But I taking the car down to have a custom front Y Pipe and new convertor made for it I trryed to cut up the stock Y and get to fit I had no luck doing so.
My next door neighbor has Hookes on his C4 Vett he told me he had to remove the angle bracket on the passeger side of the car this bracket is on the cross member frame if you look straight down were the R/H front wheel is between the wheel and the motor you see it or the header would hit it I think he told me he hads to remove the starter also.
My Melrose had no issues fit in very easy.

If you get the right extensions they should hook up.
When I put in my Stainless works headers I drove it to the exhaust guy with open headers. That was cool and LOUD

I'm going to have to do the same thing. I bought some EM's but have a 3" magnaflow catback on my 93. Need a shop to fab some piping from the collectors to the catback.
