is there a difference in the l98 valve covers and the lt1 valve covers?
good question - the only thing i know is in 92, the LT1 valve covers were magnesium, like the L98, but didn't have the corvette emblem on the LH cover. in 93, they went to a composite material. all are center bolt (86-96). early 86 coupes were perimeter bolt like the 84-85's. 84 covers had a different emblem than the 85-90's, and 91 had yet a different emblem. i'm fairly sure about this, but i'm not 100% sure. i'm guessing all perimeter bolt covers are interchangeable. if anyone can correct me or if anyone can add additional info, please do so...

so will the older style l98 valve covers fit on the lt1? becuase there is a big price difference from some places
The PCV hose was routed to the top of the '92 magnesium covers (like L98). In '93, the PVC port was moved to the intake side of the valve covers (under the right side injector cover). So, the '92 has a little slot on the right side injector cover for the hose to come up to the top of the valve cover.
