LT4 Question
I am thinking about getting a C4 Vette somtime in the future. I'd really like to get a steal on a ZR-1 but I am also interested in the LT4's.
How do the LT4's compare powerwise to the LT5's? Are the LT4 parts just as expensive and hard to find as the LT5's? I know the ZR-1 is the King of the Hill Vette but do the 96 LT4's come close or not? Thanks

The LT5 is in a league of it's own, compared to the LT4 or the C5 for that matter. That being said, I love the LT4, and parts are much cheaper than the LT5. The LT5 has a slight advantage in performance, but has a huge one in the gawk department. :)

I have seen dyno sheets from mercury on the LT5's-they were a little
under-rated about 410-420 hp.The LT4 probably is also-about 350hp.
THe LT5 is a totally different animal.They are both good motors.
