I have a little extra money burning a hole in my pocket so I thought I would upgrade my wheels, you know, try a different look on the car. Im getting tired of the same old look. I can't make up my mind on these wheels, also I don't know if it would be to much black since the car is also black. What do you think and do you think this same wheel in chrome would look better.Wheel is 17"x 9".What size would look the best in your opinion,17 or 18??Thanks WW

Is the whole lip chrome? I think that would offset the black nicely, even on a black car.

Looks like a C5 wheel .. I suggest you make sure it is a C4 wheel. 17" is plenty. Mine are 335"x17". Don't use spacers to make up the difference. I got my C4 wheels from AFS. http://www.afswheels.com/ I asked for blems, saved over $200. a scratch on one wheel. I have seen cheap wheels completely fail on track, meaning wreaked car. Corning loads are intense on the C4 track conditions.

I would go with the black and stick with the 17" 9.5, it is to bad you can't get them in 11's for the rear with 315's. That is what I have in the rear and they look great

These wheels are specifically made for the C4 Corvette by Cray.The black and silver ones are $1,000 and the chrome ones are $1,600.....WW

They only make the 17" in a 9 inch wide rim . They have a 10.5" wide rim but its a 18" rim and I wanted to stay with the 17" ..

My wheels are 11"x17" .. From AFS. $1000. Grand Sport wheels, usually $2k. Most racers use these wheels. They can take the abuse. They also fit 315" & 335" tires. If all you are concerned with is looks, get whatever looks good. A 9" wheel will not fit 315" tire correct, if at all. My first race tire was the Kumho 315" VictorRacer .. an 'Awesome Tire' I now have 335" Ecsta V700 rear, and 315" front. The 17"x11" wheel will work for all setups.
