temporary (?) fix ; run a strip of electrical tape (std black preferred) across the roof , over the gap between the targa and the windshield trim.. with tiny care in application becomes almost un-detectable, even to other plastic addicts..elec tape will come off clean and ez even if forgotten for a long-long time, will fall off by itself after a couple of years and at speeds above 257 mph

Distributor wires
I just purchased a non running 1984 Corvette manual transmission. I was looking at the photos of the wires coming from the distributor connectors. My distributor has one wire coming from the tach port. There is connector slot put no male end wire to put in it. I am getting spark but no start as of yet. The tach wires would not prevent the start, correct?

My distributor has a wire going into the tach port and a female connector pig tailed from that wire, factory. I cannot find a male for that wire. Would that wire give me any start problems. I have spark.
