How can I get the ABS light off?
On my 89 the ABS light is on and I want to get it off. I was trying to avoiding taking it apart to get to the light if possible.
Is there a fuse or an easier way to get it off?
Thanks

That is cheap. The good news is I think my work carries them in bulk and even better is I could sneak an extra one without anyone noticing just in case my first should ever go bad. I am surprised they still make them even after all these years for an 89. I just hope they do not ever go out of production, then I am really screwed.

An apology is in order. I thought this was someone trying to be sarcastic, which I used to get a lot on different boards. Until I just read the post that a clip can be used, I thought it was far fetched, so I want to apologize.
I appreciate the help.

I also have 1989, and pulled the bulb out, not hard to accomplish! It took 15 minutes to pull apart and resemble.

Fit the problem. It is amazing how many post on here are not about fixing the problem but trying to work around the problem. pull the blubs, do this or that to the vats, ect. And people wonder why some of the prices are the way they are. The more things that are working right the more the car will be worth. To me if you have not taken care of the small things chances are the other things were let go also.

I can only speak for myself. I paid a good dollar for my car and do not have money to spend right now on non necessities. If the ABS gets diagnosed and is going to cost me money, I would rather pull the bulb for now so I do not have to look at it. For me ABS is not critical but if something that I feel is critical, there will be no work around. I will wait until I have the money to do it right. So far the car has been very good to me.
