Most of the major mail-order mags (Ecklers, Mid America, Corvette Central) offer a R&R service for steering wheels. Check their catalogs and/or websites for more detail.

I believe Eckler's and Mid America Designs both do this service at a PREMIUM. The better idea, I think would be to buy the Wheelskins brand leather steering wheel cover and then just wrap it up. Takes 10 minutes, if that and the results looks great. Both my brother and I had ours done this way. The leather will shrink and fit the steering wheel perfectly within a few days.

I used Wheelskins on my 86 and it came out fairly nice. Wheel looks and feels a little "thicker". See my web page for pic.
