Default Cooper tires

I installed my new Cooper Zeon 2XS tires over the weekend. I bought them from www.treadepot.com - all 4 with shipping was just under $600(255/285 mix). My local tire shop mounted/balanced for $30/wheel, including tossing my old tires (which is now a recycle issue in NJ). The tires look good - I'll check back in once I add some miles.

I had them on my '85 and I liked them a lot. I found they wore fast though.

I recently purchased the Vredestein Sessanta tires and a wheel package on ebay and am truely impressed with the quality of the ride, cornering, road noise and look of the zr1 style wheels. The 315's on the rear look awesome! $1200 shipped with the new wheels, Tires mounted and balanced. Mechanic threw em on for $20.

I like the Good Year Eagle GSD3 for the coolness factor. bit pricey though.

Same here, seem to stick and ride fairly well being as its a cheap tire.

Less than 15k and they need replacement. Stock L98 and I drive like an old Lady.

I put the Coopers on last summer and so far I like them. They did seem to flat-spot a bit more than the Firestones sitting over the winter, though.

My wife liked them OK on her car, but they barely lasted a year

Replaced all 4 of mine about a year ago at a local Cooper tire dealer for $567.32 total including tax, mounting & balance. I really like them. I have Coopers on my 2500 Silverado 4x4 and my 4x4 Tahoe and have had good luck all the way around. I do get a little price break as I have a commercial account at the local dealer and by a lot of tires (Semi's, trailers, tractors, pickups)
