blowing oil @3000RPM...
I'm very thankful for everyone's reply to my problem. Yeah, I've got a
blown engine it sounds like. I had already replaced the PCV, and it does
look like a steam engine when I take either the PCV out or remove the oil cap. VETTELER
p.s This gives me a good chance to upgrade. Any suggestions? V.

Had the same issue. But mine had spent the better part of 5 years sitting. After copious amounts of flogging the rings decided to reseat for me and it's all but stopped. Don't know if you can get that lucky or not...

I would say the best advice is a crate engine.

Post this in the Canadian forum asking for great engine builders in Toronto.. I don't know any myself, but guys in the GTA probably will. That's a large engine budget and will get you a really stout motor, or royally fleeced, depending on where you go.
I would suggest that budget is not the realm of a basic rebuilder/machine shop but rather a specific custom shop.
