Default Leaks

I am beginning to get to a point where I cannot remember the last time my vette didnt leak something.

Just finished fixing a few hoses. transmission leak, oil leaks. etc over the past 6 months or so and this morning I see some coolant spots under my car at work. Looks like I will be under the car tomorrow morning trying to find where its coming from. 135k on the clock

I am starting to think I need a new DD

Default me too

Hi 5pointz. Me too, with my '88 coupe. Since I replaced ALL the coolant hoses a few years ago, the only leak I have is the automatic transmission. At the front seal, I think. It' just enough to make a small puddle on the garage floor if it sits for a couple weeks. I will just live with it untill it gets bad and then pull and rebuild the transmission and motor. (please, not now Lord, I havn't got the money!) The car runs and looks good at 188k miles so I consider my self fortunate. Look at the next 3 other-make cars you see that are 23+ years old. We aren't
driveing poorly made cars, we just love them enough to keep them way past the normal life span of a typical car. dd

Mine slowly leaked coolant as well over the winter storage. Ended up having the water pump replaced about 2 weeks ago. Car has 53K on it.
