Default Got my 89 painted Black!

Got my 89 coupe painted black. It was a light blue color before. Its been a lot of work because I had to replace the hood and do a lot of the work myself.

Had it professionally painted though, 3 clears 2 stage paint!

Black interior, black rims, tinted back window!

The car itself looks great all black! Those wheels.........no so much. Maybe a different style black wheel would complete it. But hey that's just my opinion. Either way, it's mean looking.

This was what I was going to do before I decided to do the lime green. The Black out looks sick. I would say black out the lights but you live in CA.

looks like new man. Very nice. Id lower it just a tad and paint your wheels silve again, or get some new black ones. But we all know its personal preference. Looks good though.

I'm not a fan of the all black look, but the C4 pulls it off nicely and yours particularly.

Paint looks nice...lower it polish the wheels out leave the inserts black think you have a winner there, all personal preference though.

Ditto on the lights tint youll get hammered for it out here plus easier for others to see them so you dont get rearended.

I agree with the others. The car looks great but the wheels should be changed, jmho.

Thanks All! Good opinions to!

I had to de-trim the car and remove headlights etc. so that all the painter had to do was paint it and then I re-assembled it.

Got out the door for $2,000.00
3 coats clear, 2 stage paint, and he threw in a polishing.

Google Color Glow Fresno Ca and you can find the shop.

Thanks.

Good price, IMHO, but a bit of a drive for me. A good reference point none-the-less.
