L98 intake on a 305
Years ago I had a 78 Monza Spyder with a 305 with a 4speed. It was quick but I bet if I could find another one and installed a L98 intake on it the Monza would smoke my 88 Vette.
This could be a serious sleeper, does anyone know of a Monza Spyder for sale?

wow, talk about memory lane... We used to put 350's in the Monzas, Known to put 454's in Vegas too (hook them up, and you couldn't open the doors anymore). As far as I know, the only reason for 305s was to keep the torque level below the framentation threshold of the 5 speeds. Haven't seen a decent Monza since before Clinton.

No, but I wish I had my 77 back. Ordered new, graphics delete, 305, 4 speed. Black with tan interior. Sold it in 80 and got my first Vette. Saw it around town for years and always thought one day it would come up for sale. Just stopped seeing it around though.

L98's TPI intake was designed to get more torque out of 305s.
