Help help help!!! Holy cow!!!!!!!
I know this does nothing for your situation, but I had a similar issue about state farm...in 1990, I rolled a 1989 Grand am under an overpass, (fell asleep at the wheel- I tried to stay out partying with some new friends for two days and very little sleep, I wasn't drinking mind you, just no sleep) anyway's I was in the hospital broken collarbone, twisted ankle, nothing major and the state trooper comes in and ask's me if I was drinking, I said no sir and he said he didn't beileve I was going to get any tickets, but he said he had to measure the skid marks, I said there wasn't any skid marks, I didn't have time to hit the brakes, woke up and seen the guard rail dead in front of me, I ripped the wheel to the right, and came up on the right side of the car, flipped over on the roof, cleared the overpass and got ejected from the car, I was really lucky" any way, two weeks later the trooper maile me two tickets-one for not wearing a seatbelt, and two for failure to keep right....how much further right can you get than the ditch on the right side of the road? State Farm was my family's Insurance company for 30+ years at that point, then they totalled my car, it had 120K miles on it when I crashed, the car was only a year old and they said it was worth $7,000 (Current Market Value) I ended up eating $3550 on a car I would never drive again...needless to say, if I had Gap insurance, I would have been fine, but that hurt. I changed my insurance company the next day, haven't looked back since. I would get a Lawyer involved, as everyone else has stated, consultations are usually free....no harm, no foul.....
Hope you get some closure bro.....

120K miles in 1 year??? That works out to driving it almost 6 hours per day for 365 days and maintaining an average speed of at least 60mph. When is it possible you had time for friends? .... I'm just saying
