Default Sensor Question

Tracking a ghost in the machine. I've got a P0131 code related to the bank one position one O2 sensor. Had it replaced about a month ago. I noticed that I've got a broken wire to the oil pan sensor. Don't have a ligjht for that but I am wondering if the same wire feeds the voltage to O2 sensor nearby (like a break in the loop).

Looked at your profile and I assume we're talking a '96 Vette. code P0131 is USUALLY not a electrical fault--it is the o2 sensors "reaction" to a lean condition-could be low fuel pressure, partially clogged fuel injectors and sometimes a contaminated/dirty MAF sensor. I've seen that happen more then once from a over oiled K&N filter--the oil can coat the MAF wire and "insulate" it so that it gives a false reading to the PCM. The PCM would react by leaning the fuel system and could set your code

BTW-- the low oil level sensor in the pan is not tied into the O2 sensor circuit.
