Front suspension c4
Hello,i just removed my broken front spring on my 94 coupe ,and was wandering if anyone has installed one themselfs,any special tools reqired in installing new one,old one was easy to remove,had no arch left in it,just wandering if there is anything to watch out for [special parts or tools required]I am a journeyman auto and hd mechanic,but first time doing this type of work.Any info would be greatly appreciated,,,Thanks all..

I did mine on an 84 recently. It's a chore, but not that bad if you read the directions (search) and take your time. No special tools as I recall. Keep in mind that you have to get one side of the car up fairly high to be able to remove the spring. This is due to the spring's arc.
Getting to the bolts that hold the spring into place is not easy, but you can do it.
