Default Buyer needs advice

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and could use some advice. It has been several years since I owned a vette and I'm currently looking to purchase a nice 80 - 82 vette for my daughter for a semi-daily driver, and would also consider purchasing a nice 91 - 96 reasonably priced and preferably red. Any recommendations on which of these years, if any, are preferred or should be avoided. Also, let me know if anyone has a vette for sale in these ranges. thanks. jrwatty@hotmail.com

As far as the 91 to 96's go, purchase the newest one you can afford. You will be alot happier with a 92-96 with the LT1 engine. If you feel comfortable with it, step up a little bit and get into a 96 LT4. If you want to go all out, step into a ZR1. Charlie.
