Get a copy of the Service Manual with the electical section (if it is separate). The electrical pages possibily have a tocic called the grounding distribution, showing the grounding circuits and the other topics (head lights, tail ligths, starter and charging) will provided you with the location of the grounding circuit. Typically there are about a dozen (don't quote me on this as I did not count them) or more locations depending on the components supported. The main ground circuit is on the right side rear of the motor usually connected to bell housing and the chasis. At least that's where they are on my '91 and it will a least be close on yours and I have not a clue where the orginal location is as the '91 was put together after motor replacement by a profiessional(?).
Like KKdan i'm suspicious that I have some ground problems, but I HAVE the 93 Service Manual.
It shows simplified electrical diagrams, but no illustration of where 'G101' or 'G106' (or more to the point, where S235 and S213) might actually be located so that I might inspect and clean the things. There are descriptions farther back in the manual, but not always helpful. A picture would be worth a thouusand words!
Thanks!
Paul
Thanks, Blackbear Bob!
This gives me something I can sink my teeth into. Next Saturday I'll be looking at those ground wires and cleaning or replacing the connectors.
