hey everybody, iv been in the process of a full suspension overhaul on my 94 for a few weeks now, and i finally started putting everything back in today. got basically the whole drivers side back in, but i have a question thats worrying me. on the upper control arms, there are 4 washers that go on the 2 bolts that hold the arm to the frame. 3 washers are thinner and one is thicker. now when i took it apart, i didnt take note to where the large one went . when i went to put the arm on today, i figured id just put the large one on the outside so it didnt effect anything. well the arm didnt seat up quite right against the frame. so i repositioned the large washer to the front bolt, on the inside of the arm and it fit better. now common sense says thats the correct way, but i just wanted to check to be positive. could someone tell me where the large washer goes? and if your not sure, maybe run out to your car and look real fast? or if someone could give me an upclose picture of where those bolts go through the arm, i could probablly look and see? thanks a ton guys!
o also, does anyone know what size the 2 large nuts are that hold the rod into the arm? i put new bushings in and want to torque the nuts onto the ends, but dont have the correct size socket so i may need to go buy one so i can torque it correctly. thanks again!
The alignment shop should be able to sort them out. Just point it out to them and he can switch them around, takes up space for excessive shin stacks. Thats the reason they are cone shaped
The large washer goes on the INSIDE OF FRONT control arm.!
ya thats how i had it in there and thought it was right but wanted to be positive. i went searching for pictures and confirmed this. thanks for the help guys!

You are going to need an alignment anyway.
BTW: Only get a 4 wheel alignment!
