Default Remove vert top

I am restoring a 95 vert, want to get the top out of the way frame and all
Hassle to get it out?

It's easy. I believe there are three 13mm nuts on each side and the rear window defogger wires. Then it should lift out as a unit. You might want to mark the nut position in the slots.

Like zr1fred said. Don't try to undo the frame at the torx bolts, but take off the mounting plates on each side. If you are thinking of installing a hardtop, however, you will have to separate the folding frame from those plates and reinstall them.

That is a great idea to mark the position of the mounting brackets, will make it easier to install back into the exact same position. Otherwise not to bad of a job, may want a second person to assest lifting it out of the car.
