OK I'm sure it's something simple I'm over looking but I cannot figure out how to get the dash pad off of my 1991 corvette. I'm restoring the interior and have gotten pretty much everything taken apart except for this. Any help would be appreciated or if someone knows of a book or manual for interior restoration on this particular model would be great too. Thanks in advance.

Take off the top piece around the defroster (pops out) there are two screws there. Both pieces on the sides by the doors. The center trim piece over the radio and AC vents, the trim piece around the guage cluster, the AC vents on the passenger side (you'll see the three 10mm nuts under there) The glove box and door. Once you get all the perimeter screws out (some are 7mm, others are phillips or torx) gently pull the dash forward, there are clips on the windshield side that hold it in. If you have resistance pulling , check for a screw you might have missed.
