Just bought a white vette with Grand Sport paint scheme albeit in White, Black stripe and red hash marks. I love the looks of it, especially looking at the driver's side. The red hash marks and red brake calipers look great. Only thing is, the passenger side looks bland, and I'm considering having the hash marks put on passenger fender. However, I dread the numerous comments I'll get by the purist, "you know, they're only supposed to be on the driver fender".
There may be some sort of hash table we can reference to find out what is acceptable for this...
Really, one of local people has a new GS in the bright red color and had white hash vinyls installed on both fenders and it looks good. Worst case is that you don't like it and remove them.

I have them on both sides. I like the balanced look and don't really care what the so called 'purists' think.

So how was the drive home from Minnesota? I thought that car would look awesome in my driveway with my 88 35th Anniversary but just couldn't swing it right now. My vote leave it alone but it isn't my car so I really have no say in it. If you want it on both sides go for it.

Pointing out the impurity of a second hash on a white/black GS themed car would qualify as A completely idiotic thing to do. Sadly, it will probably happen but just laugh and move on.
I personally think anyone that has the nerve to walk around and play expert with someone elses car is a little wacko and deserves a good sock to the head . Listen to them? Hell no.
whos to say what correct is anyway? Your vision of your ride is whats correct.
Yep, I'm going to do it. you all gave me my answer..... If it's pointed out that it's not a correct GS theme, answer is.....it's not a GS!! I like it. I think a white car needs a little something IMHO....previous owner I think really had the right idea with the GS theme, I just like the red hash so much I want it on both sides, so both sides it is. Thanks all for your input.

Ride home was great. Weather was fantastic and car performed like a new car. stopped at a walmart on way out of town and bought some quick detail mist and microfiber cloths so I could wipe off bugs at every stop. This car is in amazing condition and I want to keep it this way. It was supposed to be a daily driver, but is way too nice...looks new inside and out. Soooo.... It will be a pampered garage queen. Now I'll have to look for another daily driver Don't tell my wife!!
