I deal with Contemporary Corvette in my area. Ron has over 300 Vettes there in various states of carnage. I have seen plenty of cars where the drivers did not make it. The worst was a Z06 C5 that was about the size of your average refrigerator. It was part of a lot of 4 wrecks, & yhey had to take it to get the other three. I think that people who get caught driving way over the limit, or street drag racing should be forced to visit a place like that, just to see what can happen when you drive like a nitwit. The folks at the yard don`t know the story on every car, but there are enough cars in the yard with crushed roofs, torn clothing, & dried blood on the seats & carpets, that it should make some daredevil drivers think twice next time they get behind the wheel.
Heres one that will make you cry.Dont know the story here, supposedly a disgruntled ex girlfriend lit the place on fire. This picture is only one forth the size of this lot. There were at least 6 ZR-1s in this barn and at least one Midyear.Everything burned to the ground and I believe there was not a dime of insurance.[IMG][/IMG]
