Door ajar switch question
Hey everyone,
A few weeks ago my door ajar switch totally broke on my passenger side, leaving the interior lights on all the time unless I have the radio fuse pulled out (no fun!).
Anyway, I purchased a spare door ajar switch from a fellow forum member (Thanks Kelly!!!). I was about to install it. But it turns out that after I ripped out my old door ajar switch, I didn't need to install my new one!
So now my passenger side has no door ajar switch at all, yet the lights will still come on when either door is opened, and will shut off when either door is closed. Does anyone here know of any reason why I should still install my door ajar switch on the passenger side if it seems everything is functioning normal without it?

The door ajar switch is located on the door panel. I believe it is to light up the door ajar bulb on the DIC. And it may also be apart of the alarm system.
The switch that turns the lights on/off is in the door jamb area. You should be able to get that switch from the parts store.
